This is not Yoga, though we take elements of what we’ve learned from Joga, Pilates and Animal Flow and sprinkle them in, because they are so powerful in MOBILIZING your body.
We add elements of Thai Massage and Stretch Therapy to explore the fascia of your body through a combination of static and dynamic STRETCHES.
And then we deal with the Neurokinetic relationship of your brain and your muscles to activate dormant patterns through muscle ACTIVATION.
Our goal is to help you to get a better understanding of your body. Movement Therapy was created by Devon MD Jones for everyone to:
Increase flexibility: especially for those of us who are not naturally flexible
Increase body awareness: the more we understand, the better we can help it.
Increase mobility: the better we move the better we feel.
Increase Core Strength: holds everything together

A Low Impact mobility program that will help you increase your #flexibility and your core strength through functional movement, so you can show your body some love… and live a more mobile life!

We Mobilize, Stretch and Activate all the parts of your body to get you moving and feeling better in your body.

We focus on positive and encouraging training. Trying new movement patterns that challenge your flexibility, coordination and confidence so that you evolve in ways previously unimagined!
Why Movement Therapy?
I developed the Movement Therapy system from the needs of my current personal training clients. This system is a combination of Mobility, Strength and Breath-work to help you connect to your body in new ways as you prehab, rehab and recover from the stress in your mind and body.

Injury Recovery
Exercise regression refers to scaling back or adjusting your workouts to a lower intensity or complexity level, can offer significant rehabilitative benefits for individuals recovering from injuries or dealing with chronic conditions
Regressing your routine, allows for a gentler progression towards full recovery, preventing setbacks and promoting gradual strengthening and healing.
When losing focus regressing your exercise routine can help maintain motivation and consistency during periods of physical limitation, enabling individuals to stay engaged with their fitness goals in a safe and sustainable manner.

The classes and sessions are 30-45minutes of low impact movement to take you to the next level of Fit-Ness!

Once you are signed up you will receive an email with instructions on how to access your account. Google Chrome is encouraged for the best experience.

You just need your body, a towel a mat and bolster/pillow. You will be notified if you need extra items for classes.

This comes from a non-competitive atmosphere in class that focuses on the innate physical intelligence and abilities within the individual. Instead of comparing oneself to others or to the person next to them in class, the participant is encouraged to find the best way to move and function for them, not some ideal.

Movement Optimization for Prehab and Performance - Level 1, takes a comprehensive functional training approach rooted in clinical strategies and geared towards injury prevention and performance. It provides the Trainer/Therapist with principles to effectively assess and establish the fundamentals of movement: mobility, stability/motor control, patterning and sequencing.
